ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Yorkshire Classic is a stunning rally through northern England’s most iconic landscapes. Beginning in the elegant spa town of Harrogate, the route takes participants on a scenic journey across the Yorkshire Dales, with sweeping views and flowing roads that are a joy to drive. A highlight of the route is the dramatic approach to the Ribblehead Viaduct, where the striking architecture of this Victorian masterpiece provides the perfect backdrop for a mid-morning pause. Crews will enjoy a traditional Yorkshire lunch at The Queens Arms, a much-loved country pub in the heart of Littondale. With a blend of navigational challenges and spectacular terrain, the Yorkshire Classic offers a perfect balance of spirited competition and relaxed countryside exploration.

CHARACTERISTICS

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY

Any three or four-wheeled vehicles built before December 31st, 1999 are eligible for the challenge.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The Yorkshire Classic is perfect for first-timers, couples or anyone simply looking to enjoy their classic car in a fun, low-pressure environment.

TYPES OF ROAD

The Yorkshire Classic will take place predominantly on asphalt and lightly gravelled roads, rougher roads and surfaces will be avoided wherever possible. There will be regularity sections and special tests. These special tests will be held on private land.

HOSPITALITY

Coffee, lunch and a buffet dinner are provided during the rally and any allergies, specific dietary requirements, or religious preferences will be catered for (subject to prior communication).

NAVIGATION

The route will be defined in a detailed tulip Road Book and an overview map of the route will also be provided.

ENTRY FEE

£300 per crew for the rally only

ON EVENT SUPPORT

Although mechanical support will be available throughout the event, the ability to carry out regular maintenance on your own car is essential. Should you need to be transported by truck we will help as much as we can, but all responsibility, including payment, rests with the competitor.

*Entry fees are based on a crew of two people sharing hotel rooms. If you would like the privacy of a private room throughout your trip please select this upgrade option when completing the event application form. Please note, an additional single supplement cost will be chargeable for this upgrade.

Our day begins in the elegant spa town of Harrogate, with a rally route that weaves into the wild beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Dry stone walls, open moorland, and flowing country roads set the scene as you make your way toward one of the day’s highlights—passing the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct.

A relaxed and hearty lunch awaits at The Queens Arms in Littondale, a traditional Dales pub full of charm. The afternoon brings more scenic driving and navigational challenges through remote villages and wide-open landscapes. With a balancedmix of map sections, jogularities, and regularities, this rally offers both a competitive edge and an unforgettable Yorkshire driving experience.
